Many years ago my mother gave me my late father’s diaries.
They were written in Polish – which neither I nor my mother spoke. In 2010 I retired from work and decided that the time had come to start uncovering the details of Józef’s time as a Polish medical officer in World War Two.
On this blog you’ll be able to follow my translation process as you read about my father’s experiences in his own words.
